2011 District Service 105D
The Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions Club is privileged to have been asked to arrange the District Service for 2011 by District Governor Lion Ron Twining.
Arrangements have been made for the Service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Church Street, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, SP6 1BB on Sunday 2nd October 2011 at 3.00 pm. This is a beautiful Church located in the countryside and listed in the Doomsday Book in 1086. The location is easily accessible from Salisbury in the North or from the A31 in the South. The Service will be open to Civic Dignitaries as usual. Permission has already been obtained from the Mayor of Fordingbridge for the wearing of chains, etc. by visiting Dignitaries. The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire will be in attendance. There will be facilities for Civic Dignitaries to robe and for chauffeurs, as required. There is extensive free parking immediately adjacent to the Church and the site is all on one level for any disabled visitors.
As is customary, tea will be available at a cost of £6.50 after the Service in the Church Hall immediately adjacent to the Church.
